The bull bison are longer heavier furred and have thicker leather which makes them heavier. Bulls are used for rugs, robes, and moccasins. Cow bison are lighter in weight and can be used for rugs, bedding, robes, coats, vests, hats, mitts, and other clothing apparel. Inquire about less grade hides for crafts as we get a few of them now and then.

This spoon is made from the American bison. These are just the cut outs so you can make your own finished and polishes buffalo horn spoon. The finished product looks like the spoon with the red on it. All rough cuts come with instructions on how to make a finished spoon.
