Weasel, also called ermine, are professionally tanned. Winter white with a black tip on tail. Ermine pelts are used for making dream catchers, drops on shirts, bags and war bonnets. The linings of medieval coronation cloaks and some other garments, usually reserved for use by high-ranking peers and royalty, were by sewing many ermine furs together to produce a luxurious white fur. All hides are cased skinned.
